Much of the music our youth listens to is violent and derogatory. The violence in our streets and drug use among our young people directly reflects the messages and stories that are in the music our kids listen to. Today, hundreds of Rap artists are killed, or caught up in criminal activities. The fans of these “Artists” are adversely affected when they see their favorite idols killed. The fact that so many young people are dropping out of school, feeling hopeless and getting involved in criminal activities, is proof that something needs to change. The Promote the Peace program can provide positive alternatives by helping to engage youth into positive music and arts projects.
The Promote the Peace project is a unique and original way to raise attention towards our young people’s talents and ideas. By producing several platforms to promote, Promote the Peace will attempt to unify the youth as well as their families, community, government leaders, law enforcement and the business community. This project will allow students from all corners of the world, a chance to combine their talents under one unified theme, “Promote the Peace”.
Promote the Peace Mission
The mission of the Promote the Peace Project is to reduce violence, promote education and raise funds for needed programs and activities for young people across the USA and potentially the globe. By allowing young people to participate in the production of the Promote the Peace Project, they will expose them to a multitude of career choices, mentors and positive role models.
